Dear all at True North, I am writing to you to thank you for a bloody fantastic trip, Over The Top 2, we did with yourselves a few weeks ago. This time it was Angela and I with no other family or mates. The other guests were a gr...eat lot, and I reckon we got on well with all of them. As usual the crew were more than helpful with any request, and they all put in such a huge effort to ensure all passengers had a unique experience. On this trip it was hard to pick a particular member of the crew, but it is very hard to go past the efforts both Captain Gav and Hannah who we believe went over and beyond what would normally be expected. However please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone. We believe it was a privilege to see unique parts of Australia that many others do not get a chance to get to, and to do this in style and luxury that the boat provides was brilliant, and will not be forgotten for a very long time. The care taken by the crew to “less able” passengers was excellent to ensure that everyone could experience special places, and for the crew to also see these and be inclusive with us as guests is fantastic we believe. Visiting the Tiwi Islands was a highlight, as was the snorkelling around Lizard Island, the fishing and who could forget having a few “sherbets” on the tip of Australia, all up a fantastically unique trip.   We wish you and the Company all the best with True North II, and we look forward to travelling again with yourselves in the near future. I am truly grateful that I can enjoy 2022 even more - THANK YOU for the calendar & the message written. The Covid Years have changed so many lives & lifestyles. To read your re-arranged tours & to cope with so so many disappointm...ents - has obviously been appreciated by those living in the WA state. Always HOPE for the rest of Australia. My True North experience I treasure - photos & travel brochures - in colour - pull at the heart strings - but that I have been & experienced the TRUE North MAGIC & EXCELLENCE is super fantastic. The Heli camping night would have to be the absolute highlight of our trip on Kimberley Ultimate 6. Alan (Pilot) was sooooo good, great knowledge, excellent camp cook, host and fabulous company! Was fun having Chris and Laura (Cre...w) as well. Was the most beautiful spot up in the top of the Kimberley, scenery and especially the stars in that outback black night. Where else can you step out of the helicopter and jump into a glorious fresh water pool. Sit around a campfire and then into your luxurious stretcher. Felt like we were in a dream!!! We thought that the True North cruise (our first) was all about seeing the Kimberley from a coastal perspective. However on reflection It has been more about a special experience – not only seeing spectacular landscapes but also... gaining insight into history of the region and its people. We are coming away with a feeling of being immersed in many aspects of the history & culture of our ancestors and its first people. Chris masterfully facilitated this wonderful experience. Having spent most of my formative years growing up at Rotto on a boat, I really thought I had done it all on that little island just off Perth. True North Adventures sure showed me another side of things and took my island experie...nce to a whole new level in 2021. Whether it was seeing the island from the boats Helicopter, exploring the beautiful Fish Hook bay and having all its marine life explained by the guides, historical tours of war tunnels or enjoying the sumptuous meals and cocktails on what seemed like our very own super yacht …it is truly a great adventure even for the hardened Rotto enthusiast. The Rottnest cruise was such a fantastic experience. Exploring a location so close to Perth that hosted hidden and secluded bays, amazing marine and wildlife, snorkling in pristine waters and ending the day with a pop up bar and ...amazing view could be compared to any one of a host of brilliant locations in the world but it’s an opportunity right on the Perth doorstep. The beautiful True North vessel, outstanding meals and atmosphere were sensational, and would highly recommend putting this trip on your bucket list! Read more
